Social & Emotional Development
Mealtimes are used to support conversation, turn taking, and the practice of table manners.

At Kinderberry Hill, children experience hands-on learning through growing and harvesting during the spring and summer months. Each year, our classrooms plant fruits and vegetables in our outdoor gardens, giving children the opportunity to care for them from seed to harvest. When the produce is ready, children enjoy tasting what they’ve grown, using it in cooking experiences, or sharing their harvest with their families. This brings learning, nutrition, and community together in a meaningful and seasonal way.
