MS, Early Childhood Education with a focus on Social and Emotional Learning from Erikson Institute

As an Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist, I am passionate about supporting the overall well-being of young children while empowering the families and early childhood professionals who care for them. In my work, I partner with families, educators, and community agencies to nurture children’s healthy development and strengthen the relationships that help our littlest learners flourish. Whether I am providing consultation, coaching, or family support, my goal is create spaces where children feel valued, caregivers feel confident, and everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

My work is grounded in the belief that healthy relationships are at the heart of learning and development. I am continuously inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy, and I view children as capable, curious, and full of potential.  I also believe in the notion that “we all do better when we all do better,” which is why I love Kinderberry Hill’s commitment to Reggio Emilia. Our strong partnerships with our families and the communities we operate in are so special and truly one-of-a kind.

I am committed to continuing to learn, advocate, and collaborate so that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential. I am honored to do this work every single day, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside children and the adults who care for them, celebrating their strengths, embracing their questions, and helping create spaces where everyone can grow together.

Outside of my professional work, I enjoy going for bike rides with my family, spending time at one of Minnesota’s 10,000 lakes, gardening, running, reading, and attempting to keep up with my young daughter who is also a Kinderberry kid!
